Measurement protocol

Our measurement protocol describes the procedure for taking exposure measurements as conducted in the TNO Worst Case Room.

These are carried out in accordance with the following European standards.

 

- NEN-EN 481, Workplace atmospheres – General requirements for the performance of procedures for the measurement of chemical agents (1 February 1994); - NEN-EN 481/A1, Workplace atmospheresSize fraction definitions for measurement of airborne particles (August 2001). - NEN-EN 482, Workplace atmospheres – General requirements for the performance of procedures for the measurement of chemical agents (May 1995). - NEN-EN 689, Workplace atmospheres – Guidance for the assessment of exposure to inhalation to  chemical agents for comparison with limit values and measurement strategy (1 April 1995). - NEN-EN-689/C1, Workplace atmospheres – Guidance for the assessment of exposure to inhalation to  chemical agents for comparison with limit values and measurement strategy (March 2012).
